Ok so the idea of a virtual race is preeeeeetty lame, to me. But I actually haven't made any charitable donations to the Haiti cause, and hey, maybe it'd be fun to get together and run 4 miles? Or separately too! I am srsly in need of motivation.

I don't think I could swing meeting you guys on the 20th, I'm meeting Chris and then I have to cart the badnesses to mom's. I could possibly do 4 miles in the 'hannock, but the sides of the road are still piled high with snow, there is nowhere to go to get out of the way of a car.

ReplyDeleteYup! I was spinning my wheels on whether to sign up now with this coupon Lynn sent me for a free tee, or to wait and see if they had an even Sweeeeter deal at the expo in NOLA. But def signing up at some point! (double-checking my dates is how i realized i was missing your bday this year :()

I haven't been running at all!!! I'm not sure I'm ready for 4 miles. I don't have any kind of gear that could track my progress so I couldn't really officially participate anyway!

Yeah, i don't know when I we could get together cause I'm going to Williamsburg on Saturday! I just thought maybe we needed a THING to get us going. I don't have any tracking gear either, I was just going to manually enter my route and time. I am really looking forward to getting out of town, will be such a relief to get away from the snowwwwww!

Yea, I'll probably go to the expo but don't know if I'll sign up for RnR... hopefully they'll give a promotional code that will be good for awhile.
ReplyDeleteCandy's wedding is Oct 9th, and it would just make sense to me to have her shower/bachelorette party on a built in three day weekend in September since so many will be coming from out of town. I'm sure noone will want to think that far ahead right now, but I'm going to make them. If they're not doing it that weekend, I'm def in for RnR
