wellll I'd like to the parkway classic since I had signed up before and raised money for it and then missed the race (couple years ago when Mary was here and she missed her flight). but it is a lot more expensive - $65. the cherry blossom is only $38.. They're both kind of a lot of money for me right now! I just don't know. I guess I could enter the lottery at least, see what happens..
oh I meant to say, if you guys are interested maybe we could sign up as a group, so if one gets in, we all get in? or is that too much of a gamble? I'm ok with it if we don't get in as a group.
I volunteered last year so I have a guaranteed spot again!
..... and apparently I should have received a code confirming this by now. And I did not. And now the lottery is closed. BALLZ. Inquiry email sent, hope I get my code.
anyway, last year you said you didn't want to volunteer cause you had no interest, Amberrrrr! what changed your mind?
I'd like to do GW pkway classic some time too but that price is a deterrent. Maybe another year I'd do it for charity, BOMF has pretty low fundraising requirements.
Got my code! Woop woop! Hope you guys entered the lottery. :) Also, I read somewhere that if you didn't get picked in 2010 or 2011 then they'll throw you a bone in 2012. But i don't remember if you guys entered those years........
nope! I never signed up. oh well, maybe next year! if zp lands a job for the spring maybe I can splurge on the parkway classic. OR maybe next year we can form a fundraising group and do the parkway classic together. :) otherwise for the spring I'm planning to do the St Paddy's Day 8K and Fodderstack (if you guys are in again!).
oh and. when/how do we do that? I haven't seen any emails from them.
