Sorry about cancelling our plans to run guys. I'm kind of glad I did though, because in Centreville, at exactly 9:30, the weather went from light drizzle to monsoon. I still got a run in on the treadmill, so w00t.
I have intentions to run again this afternoon, but I made the worst deal in history, so I have to go grocery shopping today.

I ran too! I was already all dressed when we decided not to meet up, so I figured I should go out for a little run. No way I would have made it 45 mins, and I'd have had umm needed to stop at the portapotty at that soccer field.... I don't know what's goin on with me you guys but it's nicht sehr comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI ended up running probably 2.5 miles, haven't mapped it out yet so I'm not sure. I was pretty slow, and went out for just under 30 minutes, so no way it was 3 miles.
I doubt I'll run this evening, maybe tomorrow morning, we'll see how I feel.
Wah! i went back to sleep till 1230 yesterday and then sat on the couch reading till 6! Then i finally got up and cleaned a bit, but I was pretty dern lazy. I don't feel toooo terribly guilty about missing our workout yesterday though, cause on Saturday I biked all the way to Rosslyn, then walked from there to G-town and shopped about and went to work for a couple hours, then walked back and biked home. In the rain! *hardcore face* OK SO I BOUGHT SOME CUPCAKES TOO. Rachel, you must try Georgetown Cupcake. Amazing. Maybe we can reward ourselves there when we dooo get together and run!

OMG!! Everyone has the swine flu!! My realtor was uber sick this weekend and a couple people from my office are out sick too.

ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, i'm totally freaked out. I was emailing and gchatting and photo browsing online for a several hours last night and was like "hm, my throat kinda hurts, i must be thirsty". so i got some water, but it didn't go away. then, my nose started running! i've never noticed symptoms come on so strong outta nowhere before! UGH. the nose and throat are both worse today. AHHHHH. maybe i should find a surgical mask...

ReplyDeleteChris was going to go grocery shopping yesterday evening when I said, "If you go get me an icecream cone, I'll go grocery shopping tomorrow."
It didn't occur to me that I could have said, "Hey, please pick me up an icecream cone on your way home from grocery shopping." And have had him do both!
