First week of training!

Monday was a rest day. Check!

Tuesday I was supposed to run 2 miles and I ate Chinese food instead. But I got up this morning (at 4) and did 26 minutes on the treadmill. So I count that as a Check!

Tonight I'm going to do my "cross training" which will probably consist of me stretching a lot. I've been taking the stairs lately because where I am now, they happen to be closer than the elevator and my calves are KILLING me. Amber. So outta shape right now. Amber.

    ..and by that I mean I'm terrified..

    So far my only Check! is for the rest day on Monday. :-/ Maybe I will run when I get home tonight! yar! I know I'm supposed to Cross but I don't know what to doooo plus since I didn't run yesterday, I'm thinking a cross isn't as important..?

  2. I would say getting your run in is way more important than cross training.

    Cross training ideas for home:
    Some yoga or pilates for stretching and core
    Sit ups, pushups, squats etc.
    A walk
    Do you still have your bike? A bike ride

    Other options:
    If you go to your gym there is always ellipticals and stationary bikes and the classes and stuff
    There is always frisbee or kicking a soccor ball or something like that.

    I'm a terrible cross trainer though.
